Shooting with Fill Flash

Today, I went out to practice shooting in the late afternoon with a fill flash. I don’t own a flash that is smart enough to compensate for the light meter build into the camera so I had to go “old school”. That means I had to place the camera in manual mode and use a external  (or handheld) light meter to meter the light.  -A flash meter will measure the light and let me know what the proper camera settings should be.-  After I set the camera to the appropriate setting, I then  have to set the flash to get the correct exposure: always checking after the shot for correct exposure. So here are the results of todays shoot.
